Technician Notes
AC Cleaning Is Physical Work That Also Takes Care
From protecting the work area and cleaning components to testing and finishing up, every step affects both a tidy home and a properly running AC.
Protect the work area before starting
Before entering a home, we first look at the unit location, walls and nearby furniture, then put waterproofing and protection in place. It may not be the most visible part of the job, but it makes cleaning safer and more controlled.
Every home has different space and installation-height constraints, so the working method has to suit the site.
Cleaning is not the end of the service
After cleaning, components still need drying and reinstallation, followed by a test run, a drainage check and tidying the site. Completing each step helps customers feel more confident when they next use the unit.
What technicians want to see most is a customer who understands the condition of the unit and a home that remains orderly.
Care is often in the details you cannot see
When panels and filters are removed, clips need checking; electrical parts also need protection during cleaning. Different models are built differently, so no single procedure suits every unit.
A working day can include stairs, tools and long periods with arms raised. Beyond physical effort, it requires sound judgement. It is better to check each item than rush and skip the finishing work.
