Window vs Split-Type AC Cleaning Prices Compared
Window and split-type cleaning use the same base price schedule. The main difference is add-ons: split units do not include the outdoor condenser (outdoor-unit cleaning is optional), and large window units carry a surcharge. The comparison below uses the published prices.
| Item | Window | Split-type |
|---|---|---|
| Base clean (1 unit) | $880 | $880 |
| Drain pipe | High-pressure drain flush | High-pressure drain flush |
| Outdoor condenser | Outdoor cleaning not applicable (excludes window units) | Not in base clean; optional outdoor-unit cleaning |
| Outdoor-unit add-on | Not applicable | $400/unit; $300/unit for 2 or more |
| Large-unit surcharge | Over 18,000 BTU (2.5 HP+): +$300 per unit | Not applicable |
Important notes
- The base cleaning price follows the published multi-unit schedule and is the same for both unit types.
- Outdoor-unit cleaning applies only to unit types other than window units.
- All services include a 90-day drip and leak follow-up (covering issues caused by the cleaning only).
